Based in Monmouthshire/Gwent an with up to five nights of superb quality, free, live music, the Queen's has rapidly established itself as one of Wales' premier live music venues. It certainly can confidently lay claim to being one of the best FREE live music venues, with paid-for gigs at the pub being a rarity and even when there is a charge on the door it is rarely more than the price of a pint. Nights can feature Blues, Traditional Irish, Jazz, Acoustic Folk and much more.
On Wednesday, the truly remarkable Lee Jones. This 22 year old guitar master just seems to get better and better. His last gig was truly amazing and the big question is just how much better can this guy get? If you aint seen him yet you dont know what you missing!
This Sunday we are very privileged to be hosting a very special talent. Paul Bradley has been described as "a unique musical talent" and " a musical genius". Anyone who had the opportunity of listening to him perform with Colin Tully at their recent concert in the Savoy Theatre will know what we are talking about.
Paul is a multi-instrumentalist singing and playing his mix of celtic, folk and rock influenced tunes. He has a unique singing voice this is a performance which no-one should miss. Paul is a rare talent and we are lucky to have him perform at the Queens.

As well as all the live music we have on at the pub, we like to think that we have one of the more ecclectic and rewarding collections of CDs behind the bar. We are not music snobs, but we like what we like and most of the time our customers like it too. So, if you aren't lucky enough to get to the pub for a gig, then you can rest assured that there wil be something refreshing and thought-provoking playing on the stereo.
